leaving the nest

Finally after months of waiting for his visa to come through Kasey is leaving to teach in Japan. He is going to be an assistant teacher at Reitaku Mizunami High School until February next year when he comes back to go to university to study to become a japanese teacher. At least that is his plan at the moment.

I am a bit teary and missing him already even though he only left a few hours ago. It is a big step for him but I am sure he will make the most of it. Mike and I are very proud of him and we only wish he has a fantastic time and it is everything he hopes it will be. He has set up a blip account to have as a journal while he is away.
