Everything but the bagel

...is the name of this seasoning from Trader Joe's.  Here it sits atop vegan "cream cheese" and a whole wheat muffin.  (Just about everything vegan is said with quotation marks here at home.)

RS and I hiked the Sylvan Trail today at North Chagrin Reservation in near freezing sunshine.  Planning on only an hour due to her hip replacement less than a month ago, we wound up going for 1.5 hours at a fair pace.  We met several doggies but I only included one in the extra.  Believe it or not, it's a puppy; so full of energy, we barely got it to still for a portrait.  The owner thanked us for being out there as volunteers.  He loves the park and  walks his dog there every day.  The old overlook that was wrecked by a huge fallen tree has been repaired so we were able to see the big pond down below.  Last but not least, a backup TT entry, just because...a shagbark hickory nut and shell.  I can't believe the squirrels missed the nut.
