Coffee and walnut cake

It is my job this week to take cake to choir practice for the half time break! It takes me ages to make a cake because it is all done the old fashioned way beating the butter by hand, adding the sugar and beating again, adding eggs and more beating, hand getting tired! Mixing in the flour, coffee, walnuts, and baking powder! Now cooked and ready for icing! Choir is Thursday evening so more than enough time! Hope it tastes good!
