Warning of yellow daffs and ice cream!

Today’s yellow warning of snow and ice came to nothing, and upon our return from our dial-a-ride trip to Dad’s dentist this afternoon, we sat outside the front door in the sunshine, surrounded by yellow daffs and ate ice cream!

It was only 5 degrees on the thermometer, but our front door nook is a sun trap, and seeing our next door neighbour’s poorly little girl eating get-well ice cream, we were tempted into doing the same. We now have a further yellow warning of snow and ice for overnight, tomorrow and Thursday, and the weather man just said we may get 5-10cm of snow. But I’ll believe it when I see it...
