Inching Forward

My wood burning stove in the lounge has proved an unmitigated success. it will be a while depending on energy prices before the capital cost is covered. But in the meantime it is giving me and all who visit (and especially Layla the puppy) huge pleasure. Thus encouraged I am doing the same in "the snug". Which is a much smaller room and so a much smaller stove. The stove (the Hobbit) could have been bigger but unfortunately the stove was purchased before we realised how large the fireplace would turn out to be. No matter it will be big enough. It is a much smaller room to heat so i think that probably next winter I will spend a lot more time in there. We shall see!
