Under the 590

A 10km brisk walk round Levens Park and up the River Kent.  We were examining the bottom of the river having watched the BBC2 programme on the pollution in our rivers on Sunday night. But we already knew there was a problem because the Clean River Kent Campaign has assessed the water quality as poor. Anyway we got a good view here on the path under the A 590. You can see in the shade that the stones on the bottom of the river are all green.
