My new old apple tree

My last blip of this beautiful old tree showed it coming into leaf. Now look at it!! It is covered in the most stunning blossom and luckily the rain over the weekend hasn't knocked too much of it off. I haven't seen too much insect activity so I do hope the fruit sets.

It is such a joy to have this beautiful tree in my new garden and I thank God everyday for bringing me to this wonderful place.

The bluebells in Midgeley Wood are still flowering their socks off and since the stinging nettle scare Lottie and I have been much more careful where we walk. I will be very sad when this display is over but I am sure the delights of the woods will be carried on in other ways throughout the seasons.

I have turned my comments back on now as I am feeling better but please forgive me if I don't comment on all your blips. I will reply to any comments you give to my blips.

For my fellow West Yorkshire blippers - I have now been to the St Ives Estate and Lottie and I had a lovely time. AND the cafe allows dogs in. It just gets better and better living up here.
