Horsing Around
A chilled out Sunday was the agenda of the day.
We busied ourselves with the usual & dull errands of hoursework, ironing & a little gardening - our Aubrieta's are under attack from the SS (Slugs & Snails), it's quite distressing to witness. We did go for a full frontle however yesterday by scattering some lovely blue pellets out, I didn't want to do it but they've forced my hand! It's seemed to do the trick as we had a nice collection of ex-SS piled up this morning.
Training for the Great North Run continues & we went for a 5 mile run via the picturesque town of Lindfield - it was a toughy but we made it back just in time for apple crumble & custard. Phew!
Along a country lane, as you often do, we met a trio of horses with one sweet chap, Horeton we have named him, zooming over to us for some attention. He was very nice but sadly we narrowly missed a slobbering as we had nothing to feed him with, so a stroke & a pat were all we could give.
Please give whatever you can via my JustGiving page raising money for Marie Curie. Thank you you beautiful blippers!
