An adventure

This is a very late posting.

We made a quick decision yesterday afternoon to travel to Oamaru for a few days to look around, meet a blip friend and just have a break from Auckland.  I had to go with my sister to the lawyers to sign papers relating to our Mum’s probate this morning, then it was back home to do a quick pack (carry on only). After that it was a day of travel - bus, train and bus to the airport, lunch, waiting for flights (Auckland to Wellington and Wellington to Dunedin), supper, shuttle from Dunedin Airport into the city, and finally checking into our accommodation for the night.  We were very tired by the time we got to bed.

I took a photo just after we lifted off from Auckland Airport, then some photos as we flew into Wellington, a photo in Wellington Airport, some photos in Rydges Wellington Airport Hotel where we had supper, then one last photo as we flew into Dunedin.
