Noah!

A full day… woke up to Sam too ill to go to church. Then realised we’d forgotten to put the gammon from last night away and Charlee had taken her chance at extra nutrition… then, presumably because of the salt and drinking lots, she’d weed all over our hall carpet!

Quickly gave the kids breakfast and left them under strict instructions to be good, and rushed off to church to preach the sermon i’d just about written - which turned out overly long and ramble-y - so then, having asked for suggestions from a few people I managed to edit it ready for a second run in the evening.

Then to Aldi for an easy lunch, home to cook and walk the dog. Then a quick chapter from Lord of the Rings with the kids before we went to Grow Together. Then the evening service, where I felt the sermon went better and had some really good chats with people afterwards.

Home for tea with Sam - and began to feel a bit rough myself… so off to bed!
