Mount Vesuvius

Booths very kindly sent me a £5 voucher and so as we were in Ulverston buying chicken feed, we nipped into the store to spend it!
The first thing we saw was some great looking blood oranges. The label said they were grown on the slopes of Mt Vesuvius! So we bought some, and very delicious they are.
We had a walk in Roudsea Woods on the way back, there wasn’t much happening but it was lovely in the woods.
I planted my new seeds, tomato Black Beauty. I saw this on Gardeners World and thought they might be fun to try although I don’t usually have much success with tomatoes. Fingers crossed.
