Considering there's been virtually no snow for over six weeks now it's amazing that the resorts have managed to keep so many pistes open, especially across high season. . Obviously it takes a lot of endeavour, and huge costs, but skiing is big business. The piste bashers in this shot cost around €500k each, and further thousands a day (night) to run.

Tired legs today, but lots of laughs. Result.
