Mono Monday

This is a first for me being the first time in a row I've tagged an image for MM for two consecutive weeks.  I decided before I went out that I wanted to shoot some of my regular birds in mono just for something different.  And the minute I went out, I was surrounded by little black-capped chickadees, perfect for mono.  I did some adjustments on the white balance in the digital darkroom but on the whole, I was pleased with the exposure and overall contrast.

Jax and I went to PetSmart for some enrichment and reactivity training this morning.  The first person we saw was the trainer who did all of his classes so he went right over to greet her...before noticing that she had her senior pit, Rocky, there.  Lots of sniffing and tail wagging and then he wanted to go back to Amanda.  So that went well!  Then, a short time later, we encountered a French bulldog which didn't go quite as well as Jax started barking immediately.  I've read that some dogs react to dogs with short noses, like bulldogs.  Anyway, I got Jax into an aisle where he was out of eye contact and he settled right down.  Baby steps.

PT this afternoon and then probably something in a dark motif.
