There has been a growing demand for food deliveries since the pandemic and they also make sense in terms of cutting down on trips by car particularly for rural outlying areas like Glendaruel .

As a result Morrisons recently agreed to resume a “click and collect” service with pick up at the Glendaruel & Colintraive Halls.

The first scheduled run was today and we ordered last week but it wasn’t an auspicious start.

Not only did our order fail to go through ( so there was nothing for us to collect !) but the technology was so patchy that the four people waiting had to stand around for ages whilst desperate attempts were made to get electronic confirmation of what was for whom.

And to cap it all we were standing around in a heavy snow shower …..
