Hospital appointment

I went with Terry to his appointment with Mr Emms at Fairfield Independent Hospital, Crank. 
The good news is that he has put him on the waiting list for his right hip replacement. 
The bad news is that the waiting list is 8 months.
However, it could be worse, for instance if his appointment with Mr Emms had been at Whiston Hospital. The waiting list there is 2 years.
I don't know how Terry is going to tolerate this pain for 8 months but we will keep thinking it could be worse.
