Saying Goodbye to Amble

The weekend was too quickly over and this morning we took a walk around Amble, visited the Sunday Market on the Harbour and ate scones and bacon baps in the café before dancing with spray on the pier and breakwater.  After perching on the obliging puffin, we said our goodbyes to Rickie and Sally and the rest of us spent a bit of time on a small beach before reluctantly returning to the car.

Thank you to Sally for organising and to her and Sam for driving us around and about, and to all the Hobblers for a weekend of laughter and bracing fresh air and companionship.  Let's not be too long before we're doing it again!
