Get 'em while the gettin' is good!
The details look better large.
My little grafted apple tree is busting at the seams with blossoms. That delightful phenomena doesn't last long, so I opted to blip these delicate petals. I received this tree as a gift several years ago from B and my husband. It has 6 branches (3 on each side) fanning out flat against a wide trellis. The little tree is only about 5 feet tall, but has 6 varieties of apples (one for each branch). It looks like this year will be a decent year for apples if the blossoms hold on and get pollenated. Come on bees!!
I played around a little with Big Daddy today, but not as much as I would have liked. I felt much better (in the head) than the last few days, but something new must be growing outside... My allergies went bonkers! My left eye swelled shut, and well, that sort of put damper on the whole photography thing... I'm experiencing plenty of other allergy symptoms, but I'm pretty sure no one wants to hear those details... yuck. ANYWAY, Big Daddy goes back tomorrow. It's been so much fun to get to play around and test it's limits. It will be hard to go back to 300 mm, but maybe this is good time to go macro for a while anyway with all of the bugs and flowers appearing. Hopefully, whatever I am so sensitive to will blow over in a few days and I can get back out and enjoy this nice warm weather.
Thanks for being so patient with me in my absence this weekend. I do appreciate everyone stopping by and leaving comments, stars and even few favs. :)) I've been enjoying your journals as well, and am working on catching up on commenting.
