The last of the sun’s rays

Thank you for all your good wishes for my mother. We headed back to the care home. She was sleeping peacefully. When she woke she was surprised to see us. She ate some cereal and had a cup of tea and a biscuit and asked about various things that are going on in the family. What a difference a day makes! But I’m under no illusions. Her right side is weak and things could change quickly but for now we’ll take each day at.a time.
