V & A East

We’ve had another day of very productive cleaning today and as a result, our kitchen is almost there. There’s a bit of snagging, a bit of painting, a smoke alarm to fit, and the upstands, which are coming tomorrow.

My C and I decided to take a break and walk down the canal to Stratford and John Lewis. We needed a pair of oven gloves for our roast chicken dinner! It’s been a few months since I’ve been in the Olympic Park and the building work is continuing space. The International Quarter looks as though it’s nearly there, and I was delighted to get my first proper view of the outside of the new V&A museum. Here it is in all of its distinct glory. It’s opening in 2024. Can’t wait!
