Loughrigg

Today’s event was on Loughrigg. The focus was on long legs so only 5 controls. Felt the effects of yesterday so decided to curtail my run and give the legs time to recover. Still covered a decent distance with the walk to and from the start of the event. My first control was close to the top of the hill on the right.

In other news youngest son Tom was digging up some concrete in preparation for installing some raised beds. However work had to cease when he encountered bones! He rightly contacted the police who asked him to stop work until the origin of the bones could be determined. Hope it is innocent and his raised beds can be created before Spring. Never a dull moment in home renovations it would seem.
