Right, listen to this, yeah?

My parents held me over that thing there and this man in a white robe dipped his hands in the water and slapped it over me. And then 5 members of my family who are supposed to love me, also dipped their fingers in the water and made a cross on my forehead!!!! I didn't cry or kick up a fuss, but I wasn't impressed!

Anyway, then ' Aunty ' Leah came over and said we were going to have some food so that cheered me up!



All in all, Mary had a good day and was very well behaved, if slightly mystified by it all. I expect she'll be relieved to find that now this day has passed, her mum and grandma won't keep wetting her head with water randomly ( they've been practising for today!! ).
