Despite a perishing cold day with snow flurries, I braved another street shot. I had a couple of DVD's to return to Alice in Videoland but any excuse will do.

Park car

Put camera around neck (like a tourist)

Carefully extract self from car

Discover unable to work camera with gloves on

Remove right hand glove and lens cap, turn camera on

Discretely angle/point camera at an interesting subject (hopefully the 'shoot from the hip' approach won't be completely random but sometimes that's ok)

Stop, look at something else (or else try not to look like you're staring)

Take photo with best neutral expression

Hand too numb to operate camera after 2 or 3 shots. Hope you have something to work with.

I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening at M's gorgeous inner city apartment. Great to be stretched out on a couch other than my own eating fabulous meal and watching a DVD.
