My reflection in bubbles
Today my 2 cousins & I ventured to Loch Thom reservoir in the Hills of Greenock, Inverckyde, the area is Known as the Cut! It's has a foot bath that runs along a water aqueduct hand dug in 1827 to supply water to the town of Greenock, and has several outlets when the winter water fall get to much, these open via a gravity mechanism and slow the excess water to flow down the hill side and into other burns ( small rivers) I had got in from nightshift at 8:10am and set off at 8:30am, travelled the 40 min journey to near the top of the hill ( hillside) then started the 10 mile walk, took loads of photos, but being this high up, weather true to itself decided to stay breach and overcast, although not cold and not raining( for a change) trying to get a good exposure was nigh impossible ( well for me it was) seen & captured my first cuckoo in flight, it's not perfect but I was happy to see it, then as the day went on, my body was aching for Sleep, concentration was wavering and my legs too! We stopped off at a cafe run by the fishermen who run the reservoir, after eating a couple of rolls n sausage drank a cup o tea, I was asked if I wanted anything else.. Yes I said, you wouldn't happen to have a quilt and pillow I could use for an hour or so!! If looks could kill, This wouldn't be blipped haha!
Got home at 4pm took Daughter to swing park, then home, got in at 8:45pm looked at photos and this is the best of a bad bunch lol
My cousins where looking at me as though Id lost the plot, seeing me bending down & almost falling into the water head first trying to get this shot!
Bath is shouting on me as well as my Bed hehe!
