"Golden Rule"

Today I visited the "Golden Rule", a sailing vessel currently making a trip up the Atlantic Coast, advocating for a nuclear-free world.  It is a national project of Veterans For Peace.  It will in dock through Sunday, open for visitation.  Pictured here is the sail juxtaposed with the WWII battleship North Carolina, sitting in the mud on the other side of the Cape Fear River and serving as a museum.  


I met some interesting folks and learned about the project.  HERE is the webpage where the sailing schedule and other pertinent information may be found.  Extras include a picture of one of the crew members speaking to passersby.
