Fallas

Today marks the beginning of the Fallas celebrations, which will finish on 19 March

These ‘falleras’ taking family photos on the beach front,
were about to join the main Procession,
which walked to the Calle Gambo, in the centre of Benidorm.

The Falleras wear the colourful traditional costumes,
typical of the Valencian Region of Spain.

Bands of musicians accompany the Procession.
