‘WELL’ I Never …

I made a new discovery today. St.Cuthberts Well. ‘Cuddys Well’ is the local name for St Cuthberts Well. Water from the Well is used in all baptisms at the church, in recognition of the fact that it was supposedly founded by St. Cuthbert himself. Legend says that St. Curhbert blessed the Well in 600s and apparently it has never dried up even in the drought of 1976.
