Cutting the Rail

Final day of our work week to lay a new demonstration 2'6" narrow gauge line. Whilst bending a rail to a curve earlier in the week the rail broke, so today we cut and drilled the  rail and inserted a fishplate. The project was successfully finished today with the line fully laid, connected and ballasted.
