Arnside Tower

Our 15th century defensive tower. When raiders came down the coast the farmer would retreat into the tower with family and animals.

I have blipped this before but here the view is looking down on it from the upper slopes of Arnside Knott. It was good to get up there again after three or four weeks when winter colds and coughs made it too difficult.
