Twisted willow catkins

Had a very quiet day! Saw Sian and Ian and the dogs for coffee this morning after taking the car back!

This afternoon I went across to mount edgecumbe to see the spring flowers. I was not disappointed! I particularly loved the catkins with the very tiny red flowers, at least that is what I think they are!

Extra.magnolia stellata, love those furry buds and the palest pink blush before opening to white!
