Never gave size a thought?
"One of us" recently sent me a photo of some BIGGISH Snowdrops.
When told the size of them I, obviously, began to wonder how big mine were.
The label tells us they're Galanthus Elwesii
variety 'Marjorie Brown' greater snowdrop. Greater indeed!
(A few years ago Alice and I were down country and visited the Elwes family home on an open day; didn't then, immediately associate the name with Snowdrops, learnt sharpish though.)
When told the size of them I, obviously, began to wonder how big mine were.
Having seen how big - my next job, maybe not tomorrow's Blip, but, before they fade; measure some of the smaller "wild" ones in the back Garden, and my elwesii too?
