March the Month

I have signed up to Prostate Cancer’s March the Month, walking 11,000 steps on average for the month of March. This is my T-shirt for taking part.

However I didn’t get off to a good start! A walk along the canal in heavy rain at lunch time I have managed to go over in my ankle ( a weak spot after surgery on it 23 years ago!) so I haven’t managed 11000 today so I am playing catch up all ready and need to nurse the ankle a bit the rest of the week.

However I will complete the challenge as we need to keep up awareness and get it talked about more . Breast cancer kills less people than prostate cancer yet that isn’t the common perception.
