Work today involved lying on my back holding a torch and a 10mm spanner in a very narrow orifice in J’s masonry stove to reset the factory set front air vent. The lock nut had come undone so a quick call to the manufacturer to find out how to rectify was made.

Easy but awkward to do but I have no idea how and neither did the maker know how on earth a nut can work loose when it is not subject to any vibration.

Any ideas as to how….?
