Eye Kettleby Lakes holiday park is not just a campsite, it is also a fishery set in 150 acres with 9 coarse fishing lakes.

That means it is also a haven for many birds. Every evening we hear owls and during the day we see various birds including geese, ducks and herons.

There are apparently many red kites nearby. Certainly I saw one on the way here and have seen kestrels too. Now if only I could have my camera ready…….
