A lunch time trip....

....to Burton Manor and a quick look round the grounds. This was a huge renovation project after its previous owners left it to fall into disrepair with collapsed ceilings and stairs, broken windows, warped woodwork  and trees growing from guttering. It's nearly finished now. Scaffolding is still in place to the right of this picture and stonework and landscaping is continuing in the extensive grounds. The fountain has been restored and the spring flowers are lovely. kwchas.....did you know where I was before you read the text?
