Mural

Had a long overdue meet up with Sue (aka mindseye). Although both blippers we have been friends for much longer. Time always rushes past too fast and between work and families we have failed miserably.
It was lovely to catch up and I’m determined it won’t be as long next time!
After a nice lunch we had a short stroll up and down the high street in Monton, I spotted this mural as we waited to cross a road, Googling later to find some information about the mural it was completed by Russ Meehan the artist famous for the huge 22 bee mural in the northern quarter Manchester following the Manchester Arena bombing, in an article from the MEN Meehan explains the meaning of the flowers and that in this mural the bees represent the people of Manchester; hardworking individuals around the city.
