Fog

A day of fog and sunshine. During the sunny spells it was very pleasant but the fog was always hanging around.

Played havoc at Sumburgh Airport where no planes got in and only one away. Pity anyone coming up on the first Edinburgh flight as their day may have gone along the following lines - it would have left Edinburgh circled over Sumburgh and then headed back to Edinburgh. If then transferred onto the second flight the same thing happened and then for the third flight it was diverted to Kirkwall!

Sun was trying to burn off the fog this evening but to no avail.
