Cracking day Grommit

Rather like the eccentric heroes of Ardman, our very ordinary lives were very happy today. Face Time with the Girl Racer in Melbourne. Excellent food. But mainlly it was nice to get on top of domestic jobs, in this case sorting clothes, two trips to the dump, clearing the garden and making a start on fixing the garage roof. Very happy with the garden at the end of the day. Simple pleasures. Two things beyond our control - sunny Weather and Arsenal clinching fourth place in the Premiership - also helped.

Got in quite a lot of listening today - The Barchester Chronicles on the rather wonderful Audible. Have also bought Ulysses in anticipation of rather a lot of decorating ahead...
