7.5 miles.......

The numbers arrived yesterday and I needed to make sure I can do the distance. For me running is all about confidence and I am only ever as good as my last run. So today was my longest run of the year (and for a long time before that). I managed 7.5 miles so hopefully I should be able to do the 7.6 miles required for leg 3 next Sunday (Hairy Haggis Relay). Weather like today would be ideal for me but not so much for everyone else (misty, damp, lukewarm)

Beloved family did the first 3 miles with me and then went off to run the 200m track at the school. Beloved son won and husband is already planning a rematch :-).
