It was cold when we set off. It got milder, so hat and gloves were off by the time we reached the white house in the photo. I’d happily live there; quiet, yet not too far from anything, and folks pass from time to time. Some recent passers-by included our younger son and partner….. and I thought “we’ve not walked here since before Christmas.”
