It’s all a bit wooden

A morning trip to Arley for a short walk around the gardens. As I approached the entrance point a very large drone flew by, and I later saw camera crews on the estate roads filming. Apparently a BBC drama is being filmed here, as yet untitled.

The image is a very small part of the side of the medieval crook barn. The very old wood is held together by wooden pegs - or in a lot of places, not held together where the wood has rotted away. I love the textures of old silvered wood.

Later, in my usual coffee venue, it was a bit noisier than usual, as youngsters were having a go at beat boxing. Fun to watch. I’m sure Shakespeare, in a northern context, would have approved (extra)
