Strathaven Castle...

This is my first ever attempt at editing, so candid (but constructive!) feedback would be appreciated!

This is Strathaven castle... Built in 1458, the castle has associatons with the Hamilton family and fell into ruin in the 18th century...

The Castle is believed to be haunted... according to tradition, the wife of a past lord so greatly displeased her husband that she was walled up alive in part of the Castle wall. Nothing is recorded of her crime, yet it is said that she was led into a small purpose-built niche, blessed by a priest, given some food and water and then walled up forever. When a portion of the walls fell down in the 19th century, human bones were found, which gives some credence to this story...

I hope I haven't given anyone nightmares and may the poor lady rest in peace...
