We caught the metro to Cullercoats and walked the rest of the way, as they're still not stopping in Whitley Bay due to storm damage to the canopy courtesy of Otto!
Walked all the way back after a tasty lunch, so easily hit 10,000 steps today ;) 

As a nod to World Book Day - I'm reading The Lincoln Highway at the moment, by Amor Towles, and very good it is too!
