Soggy Crocuses

I found this rather nice little clump of crocuses on the verge of one of the lanes that I regularly walk along. The bright yellow really stood out in the general gloom.

At the moment this is all that there is along the lane…apart from a few snowdrops nearby. The flowers are still covered in drops of rain from yesterday’s showers.

Hopefully some bluebells, aconites or celandine will show up soon  :-)
