My Grandmother bought this Wade's ornamental beer mug for my Grandfather well over 70 years ago, I think it was a present from Harrogate after a visit to the flower show. 


Dotheboys Hall is the brutal Yorkshire school run by the evil Wackford Squeers depicted in Charles Dickens’s Nicholas Nickleby. The real school – Bowes Academy in Yorkshire – inspired Dickens. Here, Oliver has the audacity to ask for more!
