Painting

Eliana’s first choice was swimming, but she settled for imaginary play and painting. "Let’s go have fun," I said when I picked her up. 
You mean, “Less fun," she replied. We had a grand time. 
When her Dad picked her up and they were departing I said, "Next week we’ll go swimming.” 
"I can't wait!” she replied and skipped down the sidewalk.
