Heron alert

I’ve told my frogs to keep hiding. A heron has appeared regularly the last few days checking out my pond, and the neighbours two doors up. Neither of us have fish. The heron is too skittish for me to have got its photo by the pond but it seems to feel secure up here on the roof of the house in between where it can eye up both ponds from a safe height.
