"First Holy Communion"

Today the priest asked me to take photos of the young people taking their first communion. St Mary's was packed. It was good to see so many people to celebrate such an important event. Sadly most of them will never come to church again. A sign of the times I suppose :-(

If anyone has any advice for taking photos inside without flash I'd be grateful. Some shots were ok some were poor.

Too much pressure I felt, I enjoy taking pictures but somehow it's different when you have to make a decent job of it.

The little lad nearest to me had a lovely smile and such a cheeky face.
