Sunday reflections

I met my friend Alison for lunch at The Aizle, a popular venue on the Aberfoyle road. Neither of us had been there for ages. I suspect business may have suffered as a result of the rise in the cost of petrol, as fewer people are inclined to come out for a drive from Glasgow, though the place was still fairly busy today.

Tonight, as an avid fan of Kate Atkinson's writing, I am looking forward to the new series of Case Histories, featuring the hunky Jason Isaacs as private investigator Jackson Brodie. Apparently Victoria Wood, who in my eyes can do no wrong, also has a role in this series. Can't wait...
