Twirling tulip...
The tulips have reached the stage I love...past their best but at their most beautuful. If I could have been bothered to get the Canon and the macro lens I would have captured a much more interesting shot, but I couldn't so I didn't :D
We all had a little lie in after our late night but we were up and ready to head to the golf club for brunch t 11am.
David and Kenny were playing golf afterwards and there was much talk of having a light brunch of scrambled eggs on toast but in the end Tiger and Rory opted for a full Scottish (as we all did! lol)
After we'd eaten we watched them take their first shots onto the fairway then Ele, Agnes, Adrian and I headed back to the house for more coffee and something sweet.
Agnes and Adrian had intended to head home as they had new windows and doors fitted last week and had a bit of tidying up to do, but ended up sitting in the garden room chatting and enjoying the sunshine. They left about 20 minutes before Kenny and David returned. Kenny won by one stroke at the 18th.
Another coffee then Ele and Kenny headed off, with Ele and I making tentative plans for a get together in two weeks time when David and Kenny and two of their golf pals are heading off for a sneaky wee Spring golf trip to E & K's place in Spain.
We had a lazy evening with a Mexican burrito dish for dinner, the last of our Mindful Chef meals for a couple of weeks. Very tasty it was too.
