W-I-D-E on Wednesday: Shape...for Joe Tree Day

Bobsblips has chosen "Shapes" for today's Widwed challenge. We really like the shape of this big Ash tree at the front of our garden: when Son#3 was a child he named it "The King Tree" which seems a super name for it. We keep our fingers crossed that it doesn't fall victim to the epidemic of Ash Dieback which seems to be doing the rounds at the moment. The tree has a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) on it so we'd have to inform the Council if that happened. (Actually even if it didn't have a TPO, we'd still have to inform them as we live in a "Conservation Area".)

As today is Joe Tree Day (after Joe Tree, the originator of blipfoto) it seems appropriate show show it in its glory - and I was lucky enough to grab a shot with my fisheye lens during one of the relatively rare periods of blue sky between today's rain showers! I like the way (by pure chance) that the shape of the patch of blue sky behind the tree almost matches the shape of the tree!
